Sauerkraut

Some people ask me how it is that I came to be so enthralled with sauerkraut.  First of all, a form of sauerkraut is traditional to northern New Mexico and was called “chow chow” when it was made with vinegar and “chow chow enborrachado” when it was fermented.  Second, my great-grandmother was actually German so maybe it is in my blood to make sauerkraut!  We offer the following flavors of sauerkraut on a rotating basis that depends on the availability of ingredients.  You can see where we are marketing our sauerkraut in our blog, usually at local farmers’ markets.  We will soon have the capacity for you to mail order so keep posted!
